We're now making WebOS apps! 8/24/2019   Ever since I received my Palm Pre, I've desperately wanted to write apps for it. Good news, I finally got around to doing just that! You can check them out on the all-new  WebOS Apps  page. It has two apps so far. These include a handy  Circle Calculator  and, you guessed it, a port of the  Secret Message ​ program that we all know and don't really love. I hope you enjoy Tectra’s WebOS apps!

Small update for the Tectra Sidebar 8/18/2019   I have released a small update for the Tectra Sidebar. The new version, v1.3, fixes scaling issues and replaces the clunky built-in browser with an intuitive search bar. If you want to check it out,  click here .

New Pocket PC program! 8/18/2019   A few weeks ago, I released a random number generator for Palm OS. I am excited to announce that I have released one for Windows Mobile! It isn't particularly advanced, but it does have some pretty neat built-in features. You can learn more about the Random Number Generator for Pocket PCs  here . I hope you enjoy it!

Calculate the size of circles online! 8/17/2019   Have you ever wanted to calculate the size of a circle online? Now you can, with the Tectra Circle Calculator! While it may not be the first circle calculator on the web, it is one of the most advanced. Key features: Runs in your browser:  It runs completely in your browser. No downloads required. Change the approximation of PI:  Unlike other online calculators, you can change the approximation of PI. Handy! View previous calculations:  The log feature allows you to easily track previous calculations. No ads:  There are absolutely no ads, whatsoever. The Circle Calculator has a bright future! Writer v1.9 is here, and it's really neat! 8/17/2019   Hello, everyone! Tectra Writer v1.9 is here! This update makes some notable improvements and fixes a  huge   bug that has plagued Writer since its launch. Keep reading to learn more! What's new: Look up words:  Need to look up some specific text in your document? Just highlight it and press the lookup button or CTRL+L! This will search Google for your selection. Check for plagiarism:  This feature allows you to check the current document for plagiarism. Pretty handy! Find and replace:  I've been needing to add these features for a while. They are here now and they work as intended. This was definitely a worthwhile addition to Writer! Bug fixes:  This update fixes quite a few bugs. Most notably, the infamous printing bug. In previous releases, Writer wouldn't wrap text when it printed a document. Fear not, that bug has been brutally squashed alongside a few others! That's about all that's new in version 1.9.

New update for the Lynx Legacy Editor 8/16/2019   Lynx for Windows has received a new update! Wait a minute... that's not its name anymore! Yes, Lynx for Windows is now the Lynx Legacy Editor. I want to clarify this to keep confusion with the Online Editor at a minimum. Anyway, here is what's new with the Lynx Legacy Editor in version 2.5! Higher quality drawings:  Lynx now draws graphics at a much higher quality. It is much more comparable in quality to the Online Editor than before thanks to this update! Name change:  As previously mentioned, Lynx for Windows is now the Lynx Legacy Editor! Bug fixes:  We have found and squashed some bugs in this update. Hooray! Before I end this post, I would like to mention that I probably won't be releasing any updates to the Legacy Editor for a long time. I want to focus on the Online Editor instead. The next generation of Lynx is here! 8/8/2019   The release of Lynx for Windows was a turning point for Tectra. It was the beginning of a new era. However, it is with a heavy heart that I announce that Lynx for Windows has been replaced. The good news is that its successor, the Lynx Online Editor, runs completely in your browser. No downloads required! It also introduces several neat features. Before I go any further, I would like to clarify that Lynx for Windows is still in development. However, it will be receiving updates much less frequently. That aside, there are several reasons why the Lynx Online Editor is a good replacement for Lynx for Windows. For one, it doesn't require any downloads. Second, it works on mobile devices and computers alike. Finally, you don't have to worry about downloading updates. Run Lynx... in your browser?! 8/6/2019   Lynx for Windows is awesome, but it has some problems. It only works on Windows, it can be a bit finicky, and you have to download it to use it. Wouldn’t it be cool if it could run in your browser? Now it can! The Lynx Online Editor is a project that I have been working on for a while. It can run on your laptop, tablet, and cell phone.
